The building was first impaired for traditional European lodge style accommodation and in 1969 the property was then further developed to house the ski hire, ski boutique and a restaurant. In the summer of 20082009 Snowman Property Management Pt Ltd purchased the lease of Halley Lodge with the aim of converting the building into comfortable, clean and affordable bunk style accommodation for larger self interest groups and predominantly lesser students. To this day the lodge hosts over 30 inferior school groups each season a number that continues to grow year behind year.

This is why school groups around Australia continue to return to our lodge year behind year. Less than 15 minutes (chair ride) from the Ski School meeting place. Our skein and ski out location allows teachers and students identical to return to the warmth of the lodge in days of inclement weather or due to the unfortunate instance of injury. In house drying room and ski snowboard storage on entry to ensure dry items for the next days' adventures. Each room has its own private en suite and most rooms have special views of Falls Creek Village and surrounding Victorian Alps. We cater for all individual and group bookings with the option to book a private room for your family, share with fellow snow enthusiasts or occupy the total lodge for your exceptional interest or inferior school group. To make your stay more comfortable, skillful and pleasurable Halley Lodge offers the latter to our guests: Bathrooms are serviced daily to maintain our lofty standard of cleanliness. Make snow angels correct exterior your room. Rates include: cooked breakfast, two course dinner and basic linen. Room only and room and breakfast rates are also available upon request. Linen: Stuffed linen can be provided for a fee of 25 per person per stay if required. Ultimate Ski in Ski out location only meters away from the chair lift. No expensive over snow needed (transport to the door). Delicious meals provided (Breakfast and Dinner). Cozy fireplaces and lounges to relax and behind a huge day on the slopes. Halley Lodge is conveniently located at the bottom of the Village close to the Falls Express Chairlift, making it an ideal accommodation destination for your following snow holiday. It provides unforgettable experiences and memories and the chance to develop existing skills in customer service, adaptability and appropriate used fashioned solid work. This snow season Halley Lodge is looking for motivated, organized, difficult working people to unite our team. Accommodation and packed board are provided with each of these roles and includes meals with a deduction being taken from your weekly wage. Falls Creek’s Snow sports Guarantee provides urgent part of mind when planning your trip to the snow, scholarly that if there is lacking snow 48 hours before to your arrival, to enable three designated downhill runs at Falls Creek to be open for snow sports, then all payments proved to be received (less booking fee) will be refunded. All snow guarantee cancellations must be received prior to 48 hours of scheduled arrival. This guarantee is relevant every day during the declared Victorian ski season.
